LG’s new OLED W7 TVs are insanely thin !


The title say it all. Can you imagin how thin 2.57 mm is?  For comparison, that headphone jack that you’re using on your iphone is a 3mm jack. The LG Signature OLED W7 (the W stands for wallpaper, not Wumbo) Smart TV is even thinner than that. That’s incredible!

This 4K Smart TV will run LG webOS 3.5 comes with a stunning visuals, as well as audio. They are the first TV combining Dolby Vision And Dolby Atmos together. Definitely its will turn your TV into your entertainment powerhouse.

The TV also provides an Active HDR, which “analyzes and optimizes HDR10 content… for an even more breathtaking [HDR] experience.” It supports Dolby Vision and the HLG HDR standard. Of course, it also has a wide viewing angle so everyone in the room can comfortably consume the content on the screen. Dolby Atmos audio will provide consumers with a fantastic viewing and listening experience, whether it’s from the TV itself or passing through to their home theater system.


All of the guts of the TV are contained in an AV box that doubles as a Dolby Atmos soundbar. It contains 4 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, 1 RF In, 1 Composite In, 1 Component In, 1 Ethernet port, 1 Optical, and 1 RS232C.

LG’s W7 will be available only in two screen sizes: 65-inch and 77-inch. The 65-inch model weighs 16.8 pounds (the AV box is 22.7 pounds) and will be available in March. The 77-inch model comes in at 27.1 pounds (AV box weighs 28 pounds) and will be available at a later date. Pricing, however, is currently unknown. Last year’s 65-inch model was $ 8,000, so it’s safe to assume that this year’s will be similarly priced.
